WOSRFC travelled to Cirencester Rugby Club 2’s located in the town that was the largest in Roman Britain after London (and was probably a capital in the 4th century)….Ash Hathaway can I get a fact check please? ….

The game started at pace but soon became a battle of attrition with handling errors from both teams ….the impasse broken by Robbie Pritchard- sponsored by Five Acres Garage - the game was a true Roman game of ping pong ….probably better known as wiff waff in the Cotswolds (theym posh see)….

It was then the turn of Nathan Burnell (as yet unsponsored) to thunder down the wing in front of the amassed home crowd to score in the corner - conversion excellently slotted by Paul Reddan sponsored by the Roberts family

The final score of the game came from the Captain Max Kaufmann sponsored by The Lyon Inn
