Westbury-on-Severn RFC (78 v 7) Cainscross

Champagne Rugby at WoSRFC

On a chilly day at the KB Stadium of Light, Westbury on Severn RFC faced off against the Cainscross rfc in an exhilarating match. The teams exchanged blows in a fiercely competitive showdown, with both packs displaying remarkable strength. Rory (sponsored by Forge Motorsport), affectionately dubbed ‘the butcher,’ earned his accolades through a standout performance. The WOS front row was particularly impressive (Arron Hudson, IGNE, Rory Pritchard Forge Motorsport, and Max Kaufmann, The Lyon Inn), as their powerful pack laid a solid foundation for the team's success the game ended 78 - 7 to Wos …

On a day for running rugby the tries were flowing like English sparkling wine, with 12 tries scored. Special performances from Jay Scott and Arron Hudson (IGNE) collected plaudits, with try machines Harry Janneh (D & A Morgan) and Glyn Bailey scoring hat tricks each, and the other back three also picking up tries. Metronomic kicking from Paul Reddan (Roberts Family) and Jay Scott finished up the perfomance.
